Stress-Free Executive Presentations
Problem
Each year, Extreme hosted three major conferences. Every event featured 7 to 11 executive keynote presentations, each with its own speaker, topic, and priorities. Without creative direction, the messages risked feeling disjointed or repetitive. Executives needed to connect with different audiences, but the company also needed a unified message. Timelines were tight, expectations were high, and the story had to land.
Solution
I developed a full visual and narrative framework for each event. That included a custom visual theme that extended across keynote slides, intro videos, signage, and supporting graphics. I worked closely with each executive to shape the core message of their presentation and make sure every speaker contributed to a broader story. This not only raised the quality of the individual talks, it helped unify the event as a whole.
Execution
- Directed keynote presentations and creative for three major events annually, including sales, partner, and user conferences
- Designed or supervised over 150 keynote slides per event across 7 to 11 executive presenters
- Led creation of event-specific intro videos, animated elements, signage, and environmental graphics
- Developed a new visual theme for each show, aligned to brand guidelines but distinct from year to year
- Provided on-site creative support during rehearsals, managing live edits and last-minute updates
Results
- Delivered every presentation on time, even under intense production schedules
- Built trust with executive leadership, who relied on me to guide both the visuals and the story
- Helped improve audience experience by ensuring a cohesive message across the full event
- Raised the standard for keynote presentations year over year, both visually and strategically
